The recently renovated, family-run 3-star-hotel Balegra is situated on the outer ring of Basel. By public transport it is only 8 minutes from the railway station "Basel SBB" (tram 8), 15 minutes from downtown (tram 8) and about 15 minutes from the airport (bus 50 / 36). The next bus stop (bus 36) is situated just in front of the hotel.
All our rooms are equipped with direct-dial telephones (incoming and outgoing), cable-TV with video, safes, WiFi internet access and hair-dryers. Extra beds and baby cots are available upon request.
Our breakfast-room has recently been reconstruced. We also have a charming restaurant with a nice terrace where we serve mediterranean specialities.
Important: The mobility-ticket (for free use of public transports in Basel during your stay) is included in the room-rate.
