The Hotel Schweizehof is well stocked with 3 different room categories. You have the choice between economy, business and ambience rooms. The economy rooms are from 15-19 m². The business rooms are spacious and light coloured either with gran lit or 2 single beds and they are from 19-24 m². The ambience rooms have a minimum dimension of 25 m² and they are specially designed, either as fitness, relaxation of retro room.

The hotel bar is open 24 hours a day. Either for a glass of wine, for a little snack or for relaxation, you are always welcome. The small Italian snacks are perfect for light bites of for those with a small appetite.
The *** Hotel convinces because of its central situation and the perfect transport connection. All important museums, theatres, sport stadiums, the Zoo of Basel as well as the Congress and exhibition Center are reachable easily per walk or with the public transportation.
At the Freeway take the exit to Basel south. Later on follow the signboard Bahnhof SBB till the postal building (left). After the post you turn left. Drive till the end of the short street and then turn 2 times right to the Heumattstrasse. The Hotel Schweizerhof is at the end of the street at the left side. For check in you can park in front of the Hotel.
EURO 2008 Stadiums in Bern and Zürich are reachable from Hotel Schweizerhof within 1 hour. If you have a ticket for the stadium you can use the public transfer for free.
Hotel Schweizerhof has been completely refurbished in 2006 and offers now additional, new extras to our guests. The hotel is situated in a preferred area in the center at the train station SBB with easy access to all public transportations (train, tram and airport-bus) and also near the slip roads in all directions.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged CHF 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.
