On the 15th October 1893, the Hôtel Angleterre welcomed under its roof the very first hotel management school of the world - the famous 'Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne'.

Restaurant L'Accademia:
Trendy and much talked about restaurant with its own street entrance. Perfect for hotel guests and locals. Fabulous atmosphere in a contemporary space. Classic Italian menu with a modern twist. During the summer days you can enjoy the magnificent lakeside terrace. Fantastic for lunch or dinner.
It is open everyday for breakfast from 07:00 to 10:00, lunch from 12:00 to 14:00, and for dinner from 19:00 to 22:00 (last orders).
Le Bistro:
The bistro serves light meals, fabulous penne al arrabiata, perfect salads and wine by the glass.
It is open everyday for lunch from 12:00 to 14:00 and dinner from 19:00 to 22:00. Drinks are served from 07:00 to 24:00.
La Voûte:
La Voûte, a former wine cellar, offers a unique ambience within historic walls and is perfect for a refreshing cocktail, appreciating a glass of wine or for a private get together.
It is open everyday and drinks are served from 11:00to 24:00.

This unique hotel occupies six buildings dating from the 18th, 19th and 21st Centuries. Opened in October 2002, the Hotel Angleterre & Résidence offers a unique and exclusive ambience. The hotel includes a number of facilities, including a restaurant and bar, as well as a fitness centre and outdoor pool. Activities, including tennis, table tennis and biking, can be found in the surrounding areas. The hotel also has a children’s playground and a garden.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 11 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged CHF 80.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
CHF 2.80 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.
Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs CHF 18.00 per hour.
Meal Plan: Continental breakfast is not included and costs CHF 20.00 per person.
Buffet breakfast is not included and costs CHF 30.00 per person.
Parking: Private parking is possible on site and costs CHF 20.00 per day.
