The family owned 5-star hotel is centrally located in Lucerne's old town. The congress centre and train station are only a 10 minute walk away. All points of interest are easy accessible on foot. There are direct trains from Zurich Airport to Lucerne (50 minutes ride).
Some rooms have a view of the lake and the mountains, and some have a view of the courtyards in Lucerne’s Old Town and the Musegg Wall. All our rooms are elegant, spacious and equipped with state-of-the-art communication technology. All rooms have individually adjustable air conditioning and heating.
The Galerie restaurant serves a fish a la carte menu, bringing delicacies from the lake and sea home to you. Daily, you can enjoy fish and seafood on Fridays we serve a delicate 4-course fish menu.
The Pavillon city restaurant offers a seasonal à la carte menu. We will treat you to culinary delights from exotic parts of the world. We would be equally delighted to serve you our local Swiss specialities, such as "Züri Gschnätzlets" (minced veal in cream sauce) as only we from Lucerne can prepare it.
The new Schweizerhof Bar has a fine design in a classical lounge style and lighting in various colours, combined with the furnishings these set not only the mood, but new trends.
Luzern and its surroundings offer a number of attractions and activities. Our guest relations manager will assist you when planning your stay and organise tickets for you on request.
The Kappel bridge, numerous museums, the Löwen memorial and much more are nearby and easily accessible by foot.
The Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern is situated in the middle of the Old Town of Lucerne, which is in the heart of Switzerland.
By Car:
- Take the “Luzern-Zentrum” exit (“Verkehrshaus”, Küssnacht am Rigi), cross the “Seebrücke”; you can see our hotel on the left after crossing the bridge.
- Because there is no direct access to the hotel by car from here, you will have to drive past the hotel (be sure to stay in the left lane; approximately 300 metres), turn and follow the signs in the direction of the city.
Train / Bus:
The hotel is approximately 200 metres away from the Lucerne railway station, on the side of Lake Lucerne opposite the station. It is a 5-minute walk across the “Seebrücke”.
Take the bus to the “Schwanenplatz” bus stop—only one stop away from the railway station.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged CHF 90.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
CHF 2.45 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.
Internet: Internet via TV is available in the hotel rooms and costs CHF 15.00 per hour.
Meal Plan: Breakfast is not included and costs CHF 35.00 per person.
Parking: Private parking is possible on site and costs CHF 30.00 per day.
Pets: Pets are allowed. Charges may be applicable.
