There are open air public car parks (1,800 spaces) and covered private car parks (1,300 spaces) in Täsch. The covered car parks also have outside parking spaces and operate a taxi service to and from Zermatt. Shuttle trains operated by the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway run every 20 minutes.
There are direct train connections in Brig and Visp to the modern Matterhorn Gotthard railway, which arrive in Zermatt after a 90 minute journey through the romantic, rugged Vispa Valley.
